Healthcare should be transparent, accessible, and focused on helping people achieve lasting results.
After spending years building technology and consumer-focused businesses I saw a growing problem in healthcare through my front-row seat running Healthi, the diet and weight loss app used by 1.8 million members.
As GLP-1 medications emerged as an effective tool for weight loss, we saw tremendous excitement from our members. We also saw frustration from confusing pricing, expensive treatments, convoluted insurance processes, hidden fees, and most importantly, little support beyond receiving a prescription.
What became clear was that our members achieving the greatest success were combining treatment with education, accountability, healthy habits, and ongoing support. They needed more than access to medication. They needed a partner in their healthcare journey.
That insight became the foundation for HealthiCare as we expanded Healthi into prescription treatments.
The goal was simple: remove unnecessary barriers to care while providing price transparency, guidance, and support that patients deserve.
Today, we’re proud to help thousands of patients access affordable prescription treatments through a model that brings together the best of both worlds: evidence-based prescription treatments and a supportive care model designed to help people make meaningful, lasting changes to their health and lives.
It’s a no brainer to associate a heart with health around here. We believe the heart symbolizes health in a personal way, while also signifying community and inclusivity.
The plus is multifaceted – everyone associates this symbol with health and being “positive”. It is a huge cornerstone within our company too, serving our members in both form and function as an uplifting visual and health reminder.
The idea of transformation is important to both us and our members. Butterflies are known for their ability to undergo great change while maintaining their individuality through growth and prosperity.
Did you know that the formal name for a group of butterflies is a “Kaleidoscope”? Here at HealthiCare, we believe that though a health journey is an individual transformation, the real magic happens within a large, encouraging community.
